Based on Lucy Maud Montgomery’s timeless romance and set in early 1900s Muskoka, The Blue Castle is the story of a woman reclaiming her power and gaining the courage to live life on her own terms – and finding purpose, friendship, and love along the way.
One of three projects selected for development from a pool of 260 applicants for the second year of the National Centre for New Musicals at Theatre Aquarius.
Selections from the first workshop will be presented at the 2026 NCNM National Musical Theatre Summit on January 27, 2026.
